Essential Responsibilities

The Position:

As the Product Marketing Intern, you will be joining a growing and creative environment as part of the Lifecycle team. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within the field of water services. You will gain exposure to technical and commercial aspects while supporting the Lifecycle team to support our equipment install base and assist the greater organization in achieving its annual goals and objectives as an active participant.

Nature of work:

In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
• Lead the creation and update of technical and commercial marketing material using input from various teams within GE across multiple product lines, businesses and countries.
• Assist the Lifecycle team with competitive analysis, knowledge sharing and communications activities.
• Perform a variety of administrative, product and project specific duties to support the Lifecycle team.
• Influence and actively participate in the business objectives of the Lifecycle team globally.
• Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications/Requirements

Skills:
• Individuals with less than 2 years of work experience (outside of co-op/internship/summer work experience);
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills and written proficiency
• Attention to detail and perseverance
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
• Capacity to interact with internal and external customers in a data gathering mode
• Problem-solving skill/aptitude
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications, excel aptitude desired
• Preference will be given to candidates interested in a career with GE Water and Process Technologies after graduation

Education:

• University degree in course of completion in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical), Business (Analytics, Administration, Marketing), or equivalent related discipline
• Open to current students who will be returning to their in-class studies upon the completion of the work term
