Role Summary/Purpose

GE Healthcare is looking for an intern apprentice or a temporary work in the PET (Positron Emission Tomography) EU Supply Chain Division. This is only a 2 years assignment that gives a great opportunity to learn about the processes of a well-known multinational Company and the management of third party sites producing radiotracers with short decay time. If you are interested, GE can give you the opportunity to gain valuable work experience whilst providing a good learning environment.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Maintain, regularly update and improve the dose log management, the tool including all the information related to the doses of radiotracers produced by the third-party sites (CMO’s). This activity has to be performed through a continuous alignment with the managers of the PET Supply Chain in all the continents
·  Organize periodically meeting with the GEHC local representative in each EU countries (customer service, commercial, marketing) and with the Pharma references to catch feedback and optimize the Supply Chain process
·  Review periodically the profitability of the current contracts and the new business opportunities, working closely with the new potential suppliers and the internal stakeholders
·  Support the EU Supply Chain (EUSC) team in managing the purchase orders (PO) for the batches of a specific radiotracer to all the CMO’s based in EU
·  Support the creation of receipt for each invoice generated by each CMO. Each invoice has to be checked against the main contract and additional amendments between GEHC and the CMO and against the list of doses/batches produced by the CMO. This activity has to be performed in parallel with the indication provided by the EU Finance department;
·  Helping to integrate the PO generation with the radiotracer planning activities and with the real time profitability of each single batch ordered to the CMO
·  Helping the EUSC to update the current tool utilized to trace the doses, in which include all the PO’s from the different European GEHC legal entities, allowing a more deep analysis of the current batch utilization
·  Helping the EUSC to manage the supply of raw materials to the CMO from the Central warehouse
·  Support the EUSC team to transfer the management of the current order/manufacturing/invoice process to SAP
·  Operate as depute of the UK PET Department, collecting the orders in EU area and planning the production of the PET tracers (for commercial and clinical studies) taking in account logistic, contractual and profitability aspects.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Master Degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge or work experience
·  Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
·  Very Good Proficiency in Excel
·  Good level at written and spoken English. Ability to manage phone call and organize meetings
·  Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
·  Good interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
·  EU work permit
Desired Characteristics

·  Previous experience, even shorter, in a purchase and logistic/planner department of multinational companies (better if in the radiotracer field)
·  Previous experience on managing Excel tools in logistic departments
·  Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction
·  Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines
·  Exceptional drive and creativity
·  Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams
