Role Summary/Purpose

The Engineer will assist in leading Pressure Control projects, and support products and services workload locally and globally when required, with engineering issues and actively contribute to the technical development of the Engineering Department. They are also to interact with the other departments to optimize on time delivery (OTD).

Essential Responsibilities

Technical

·  Support CTR process and scoping of Pressure Control engineering activities, when required.

·  Execute technical support function for Pressure Control Projects & Products

·  Execute design and modification of mechanical products inclusive of design reviews, wellhead, valve, XT, tools and related equipment

·  Proficient in Mechanical codes and calculations (ASME VIII, API 6A), Mathcad software.

·  Recommend solutions and contribute improvements to meet technical and project/product field requirements.

·  Engage in project and product cost out initiatives.

·  Customer contact - Engage technical clarifications and meetings

·  Verification of third party procedures, drawings and documents.

·  Review customer requirements, handle deviations to customer specifications.

·  Responsible for preparing equipment documents including drawings, design verification packages, Bill of Materials and user documentation.

·  Assisting assembly and testing.

·  Engage in Risk assessment, studies and SoW creation.

·  Experience with Creo 3 (Pro NC proficient), ACAD, 3D models, tolerance stack ups.

·  Derive models for use in analysis.

·  Support on call rota for field issue resolution.

EHS

·  Ensure EHS compliance at all times

·  Ensure 100% EHS training conducted on time

·  Report any EHS issues

Operational

·  Responsible for their quality of the work performed in the department

·  Log activity of the tasks assigned and take ownership in follow up and on time delivery

Competence Development

·  Ensure 100% on time my learning training

·  Create yearly individual training plan together with Manager

·  Follow through on agreed training plan

·  Knowledge/experience sharing within the department

Desired profile

Qualifications/Requirements

·  MEng or BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience

·  Extensive knowledge of API6A and International & National regulations

·  Experienced with Surface Wellhead and flow control Equipment design & operation

·  Experienced in mechanical hardware design and development

·  Ability to work independently and lead project teams, gain progress and efficient solutions

·  Excellent English communication skills both oral and written

·  Strong skill to work in a global and cross-functional environment

·  Willingness to take ownership and responsibility
