Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step-by-step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve a result.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
· Leads tactical Gate 2 launch efforts into Gate 3 by communicating shortages and need dates
· Leads inventory control/reduction cadence, i.e. aged inventory, excess & obsolete, etc.
· Leads Professional Band & OTHSAL employee operational cadence as a part of the Gate 2 Transformation effort
· Resolves issues using established procedures as a first-level escalation point. Consults business leader and site leadership team regarding material issues impacting site targets
· Collaborate and coach others to adhere to Standard Work utilizing FLIGHT DECK fundamentals.
· Leads small teams in problem-solving events utilizing FLIGHT DECK fundamentals.
· Leads SAP data points that feed KPIs (SQDC in that order)
· Role could include Purchasing and/or Supplier Management based upon business need
· Collaborates with GE Sourcing and Supply Chain to ensure timely Material movement
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 3 years of experience
· Or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of SAP Materials/Procurement experience, or 5 years of experience in similar functions

· FLIGHT DECK or equivalent Lean/Efficiency model experience in a manufacturing or procurement environment is a strong plus.
· Prior SAP experience, including super-user training, is a strong plus.
