Job Description

As a Quality Engineer for GE Aerospace you will be part of a team that manufactures Ceramic Matrix Composites CMC, the only manufacturers in the world. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting edge technology. GE Aerospace is the world leader in providing aircraft engines, systems and avionics.

​Roles and Responsibilities

·  Quality engineers do a variety of activities at each step of the processes, to include investigating non-conformances. You are the last to see it before the materials ship.
·  Use your critical problem solving skills to see and identify solutions in the process.
·  Verify conformance to specification by measuring and testing during in-house manufacturing. Perform incoming goods control, product inspections, witness points to control quality for items from external suppliers.
·  Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
·  In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s Degree accredited  college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of quality experience)
·  Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience in aviation

·  Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience and at least 6 years experience.
·  3-5 years quality control experience in an aviation environment
