Job Description Summary
The M&D team is looking for an Engineer with proven track record and experience in power generation technologies, services, and operations, that is seeking a challenging and rewarding career path by taking over a Lead Engineer role in the Monitoring Systems & Sensors (MSS) Engineering team. The MSS Lead Engineer will own the technology of a portfolio of M&D products, interfacing with ITO as well as OTR, Sourcing, Sales, Product Management and Field Service organizations. Furthermore, technical leadership as well as project leadership is part of the job profile, supporting our Project and Sustainment strategy and the development of new Monitoring & Diagnostic products (Hardware and Software). The role is hosted within GE Vernova’s Monitoring and Diagnostic team, itself being part of Customer Service Engineering, with the ambition to keep our customer`s assets running. This position will report to the Engineering Leader Monitoring Systems & Sensors.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
·
Leading and executing M&D product related engineering work, covering regular engineering requests, non-conformances, consultancy and new product developments, for both new units and service/CM&U applications
·
Leading engineering and new product development programs (NPI)
·
Working in a cross functional global team supporting other engineering teams, product management, sales, application engineering, field service and sourcing. Furthermore, support and consult the full chain from ITO to OTR.

Assisting field engineers remotely in support of M&D product installation and commissioning
·
Attending customer sites when remote solutions for installation and commissioning are not viable (rarely the case)
Required Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in the technical field of Engineering
·
Minimum 4 years of experience in Engineering departments, industrial environment, or similar organizations, preferably with a focus on Power Generation equipment and related Monitoring and Diagnostic technologies
·
Relevant/proven experience, minimum 1 year, in leading Engineering work and programs (Project Management)
·
Strong fault-finding skills, and outstanding oral and written communication skills
·
Developed interpersonal skills, ability to build excellent relationships with key service stakeholders both internally and externally.
·
Proven ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
