Job Description Summary

The Human Resources Manager for Evendale Manufacturing Operations will provide support to hourly, unionized employees and their leadership teams; serve as the first point of contact for people leaders and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. The HRM will also execute our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and drive HR functional process improvement.

Essential Responsibilities:

·  "Walk the floor" and be available for employee & manager needs
·  Establish productive working relationships with union leadership within the site
·  Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple managers and employees with specific focus on: Employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, union relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations
·  Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved
·  Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment
·  Lead key HR processes including compensation, talent management, HR MOR
·  Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like PPG, Salary Planning, New Employee Orientation and New Manager Assimilation
·  Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care
·  Lead site-wide HR projects on the Evendale campus

Qualifications/ Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in related area OR unrelated area with 4 years of HR experience 
·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources and/or relevant work experience (roles that involve the application of labor and employment principles, operational and business management).
·  Ability to work, on occasion, a varied schedule to be available for employees on off-shifts

·  Experience in a manufacturing environment
·  Experience in a union environment
·  PHR/SPHR certification

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
