Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to support the logistics and ERP transactional activities related to engine hardware and supplier deliveries with ARS. This critical role ensures timely execution of purchase services aligned with Customer Repair Order requirements, manages shipping activity closures in compliance with customer regulations, and oversees the movement of engine hardware to and from suppliers. The successful candidate will be part of the Logistic & Transactional team, address supplier-wide logistics challenges, and empower suppliers to resolve delivery constraints through collaborative approaches. Additionally, this role will support improvement initiatives with suppliers and GE cross-functional teams to minimize delivery downtime and enhance ERP transactional efficiency using GE Aerospace’s proprietary FLIGHT DECK lean operating principles.

Role Overview:

·  Manage the logistics and ERP transactional activities related to engine hardware and supplier delivery
·  Part of the larger team overseeing the logistic activities with multiple products and address delivery challenges. Ability to escalation directly to higher level for resources and support
·  Ensure delivery processes comply with both internal and external requirements.
·  Ability to interpret Customer Repair Order requirements, applying prescribed routing, and managing the movement of engine hardware to and from suppliers
·  Support SQDC daily management utilizing the lean fundamentals to facilitate technical problem solving and foster a continuous improvement culture with suppliers
·  Build strong supplier relationships, enhance customer experiences through collaborations, dropship, and timely Repair Orders closure.
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet internal compliance, KPIs, and customer requirements. Leverage best practices and product learning across the supplier network. Competence in providing technical support and making decisions related to customer orders

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate shall have good problem-solving skills with hands-on experience as well as eagerness to learn and apply the logistic management knowledge in regulated shopfloor operation environment. An individual who can drive initiatives that aligns with business goals and foster long-term customer & supplier relationships. The candidate shall also exhibit strong skills in project and time management, a collaborative mindset to integrate their work with broader team efforts, and continuous improvement with safety-first mindset

Required Qualifications

·  Preferable with experiences in MRO related environment, such as Shop Operations, Logistics or Material Management etc.
·  Minimum GCE ‘O’ level with 3 years of relevant experience; or
·  Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or equivalent; or
·  Diploma in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing Engineering
·  Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English
