Job Description Summary

The HR Intern will support the HR team in the areas of policy, compliance, local labour practices, documentation within the India context. This role is suitable for a student who wants to build strong foundations in HR processes, documentation, and regulatory practices.

Job Description

·  Assist in drafting, formatting, and updating HR policies, SOPs, and HR-related guidelines under supervision.
·  Help consolidate and maintain a central repository of policies, manuals, and HR circulars. Support standardization efforts by documenting existing HR processes and workflows in a clear, structured manner.
·  Coordinate with HR partners and relevant stakeholders (such as Finance/Payroll or local HR) to gather inputs required for labour compliance reviews.
·  Support HR team on the aspects of policy updates, employee classifications, labour law compliance, and related documentation.
·  Support communication of policy updates and clarifications through emails, FAQs, and internal posts.

Qualifications

·  Education: Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field from a recognized institution in India.
·  Experience: Prior internship or experience in HR, legal, or compliance is an advantage but not mandatory.

Technical Skills:

·  Good working knowledge of MS Excel (basic formulas, filters, simple charts preferred), Word, and PowerPoint.
·  Comfort reading policy/legal text and converting it into structured summaries or checklists is a plus.

·  High degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential data and sensitive topics.
·  Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and data validation.
·  Ability to read, understand, and summarize policy or regulatory content.
·  Structured thinking and good documentation skills.
·  Clear, concise written communication and professional email etiquette.
·  Proactive, disciplined, and willing to learn about labour laws, HR policy frameworks, and compliance.
