Job Description Summary

Lean Engineer responsibility will be to spearhead and facilitate lean initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, minimizing waste, and enhancing operational efficiency. You will leverage lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement across the facility.

In this role, you will coach and lead problem-solving activities and continuous improvement workshops, targeting enhancements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will collaborate closely with various departments within the value stream to achieve these objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Implement and manage lean initiatives across the organization to drive process optimization and efficiency
·  Coach cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, waste reduction, and cost savings using lean methodologies. Support the lean roadmap with dedicated actions
·  Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and enhance product quality and reliability
·  Provide coaching and training to employees at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement and Lean thinking
·  Utilize data-driven approaches and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Lean initiatives, ensuring sustainable results

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in industrial, electrical, or mechanical engineering or a related technical field
·  Minimum of 2 years of experience in lean management or manufacturing area
·  Strong verbal and written skills in English
·  Proficiency in MS Office
·  Strong manufacturing knowledge with deep understanding of shopfloor management
·  Strong analytical and inquisitive thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven inferences
·  Willing to work at Gebze plant at least 4 days per week
·  Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli​

Desired Characteristics

·  Minimum of 2 years of experience in lean management in energy sector
·  Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
·  Lean training certifications, with a preference for kaizen, six sigma, and agile methodologies
·  Proficiency in data analytics and Power BI
·  High coordination skills and hands-on approach
·  Enhanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities
·  High speed and focus on responsibility
·  Ability to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organizational demands
