Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support including quotations for Power Sensing for Independent Owned Utilities (IOU’s), Public Power, and Utility Distributors
- Support Utility type customers in the NAM region for Application Engineering assistance
- Working with the engineering team on new design requirements to meet customer specifications
- Ensure quotations are meeting the business margin targets. Work closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Track large quotations and determine success or hit rate with customers and territories. Work closely with the Inside Sales team on providing pricing support.
- As required join the tendering calls for on the opportunity with the region Sales Specialist and factory teams for new blankets or large opportunities
- Build & maintain relationships with the regional Sales Specialist, Channel partners, and the Grid Solutions sales force to drive market share growth
- Work directly with Customers to influence equipment specifications
- Provide sales training to the Sales team and Channels including opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, specification influence, and other initiatives as required
- Participate in assessing the performance of sales Channels to make changes or additions as appropriate to grow orders and sales
- Be accountable for growing the Utility market share and meeting or exceeding the orders, sales plan, and margin plan of the business
- Provide customer training and participate in customer on-site meeting as required. Also, participate in region Meter School conferences and provide technical training on instrument transformers
- Provide an essential technical link from the customer to commercial operations, marketing, engineering, and product development teams
- Provide Utility market and competitive intelligence to the team
- Work jointly with Product Management/Engineering/Supply chain teams to drive development and delivery of new products and services to meet customer needs and improve customer satisfaction
- Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows and other promotional activities as required
- Manage Travel and Living expenses within budget
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college and or equivalent years’ experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technical Engineering role
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%

- Technical background with Instrument Transformers
