Job Description Summary

The Lead New Process Introduction (NPI) Engineer is responsible for the introduction, validation, and readiness of all special and critical process equipment used in GE Vernova Singapore Services, in addition to being the process engineer for assigned Critical and Special Processes. The role ensures that new or modified equipment is capable, compliant, and production-ready, enabling robust industrialization of repair processes developed and ensures that assigned processes meet qualification standards and long-term sustainment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

·  Partner with key stakeholders including Global Supply Chain Development (SCD), GSC Operations, Advanced Manufacturing & Repair Technology (AMRT), shop process engineering and shop operations for the implementation of new special/critical process equipment (coating, joining, machining, heat treatment, Non-destructive Testing, etc).
·  Coordinate and collate finalized equipment buy specifications in alignment with AMRT, process engineer requirements and compliance standards.
·  Partner with operations and process engineers in vendor liaison for on-site assessments, acceptance tests (FAT/SAT), installation, and commissioning activities.
·  Coordinate timely structured equipment handoff into production by ensuring validation, documentation, training, and maintenance/calibration schedules are defined.
·  Qualify and sustain new processes as process owner for assigned critical and special processes.
·  Mentor and coach process engineers in applying equipment validation best practices.

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related Engineering discipline.
·  3 years’ experience in manufacturing process equipment implementation, industrialization and qualification, or special processes in aerospace/energy/manufacturing sector.
·  Strong cross-functional coordination skills (vendors, QA, Maintenance, Engineering, Operations).

·  Broad experience across manufacturing processes
·  Experienced in leading Lean Kaizen/improvement activities
·  Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to collaborate well with key stakeholders
·  Proven track record in vendor management and technical specification writing.
·  Strong project management skills, with ability to lead multi-disciplinary equipment introduction projects.
