Job Description Summary

As the Lead Manufacturing Engineer at the Changwon HRSG Factory, he/she will work for the Manufacturing Engineer team within the Planning & Fulfillment organization. He/She is responsible for supporting management of manufacturing engineering documents, engineering document review to prevent NCR driven by engineering error, Follow up trouble shooting with manufacturing & global engineering group. Additionally, he/she contributes to quality-related tasks such as BIQ, PSR, and PFMEA.

Essential Responsibilities

As an Engineer you will:

·  Review engineering documents(E-BOM, Drawing) before manufacturing with activating engineering pre-flight check list system.
·  Act as the communication pivot between Manufacturing and Engineering, managing Engineering Document OTD (On-Time Delivery) and trouble shooting issues.
·  Create M-BOM and issue PR of raw material
·  Develop Manufacturing Procedures and Work Instructions based on customer contracts, applicable codes & standards, and engineering documents.
·  Conduct quality improvement activities including BIQ, Internal Audits, PSR, and PFMEA to resolve quality issues and enhance production quality.
·  Drive technical development initiatives aimed at improving HRSG fabrication and welding quality.
·  Actively participate in site issue resolution to ensure prompt response to quality problems.
·  Communicate technical details to production engineers and shop workers through the preparation of fabrication drawings, technical specifications, and direct communication.

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from university
·  At least 3 years HRSG engineering or Manufacturing engineering or Quality experience
·  Fluent Business English skill

Desired Qualifications

·  Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
·  Proficient in 3D CAD design & review
