Role Summary/Purpose

The Global Demand & Supply Planner will be a critical role as we transform our organization. Surface Pressure Control & Offshore (SPC&O) is in the midst of rolling out a best in class Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. In this role you will:
Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Global Demand & Supply Planner, you will:

·  Interface with global Sales and Marketing teams in order to develop, aggregate, coordinate and rationalize an unconstrained demand view for a rolling 12-24 month horizon

·  Interface with global Materials, Sourcing and Engineering teams in order to develop an overall capacity view for a rolling 12-24 month horizon

·  Drive detailed analytical reconciliation between demand and supply to highlight key gaps in demand and/or supply. Develop and drive statistical forecasting modelling

·  Prepare, highlight and implement performance metrics analysis of key gaps along with remediation actions

·  Conduct scenario planning and articulate changes in demand and/or supply depending on different scenarios

·  Own creation and management of the global build and load plans including analysis on level loading hours between supply sources

·  Interface with global execution teams to balance loading across supply sources

·  Drive digitization of the SPC&O S&OP process including transitioning to a sustainable tool (e.g. Demantra, Cyberplan)

·  Define and implement key performance metrics (KPIs) (e.g. forecast accuracy) to measure the forecasting process and S&OP effectiveness for the business

·  Coordinate the demand and supply planning process with other functions (e.g. Sourcing, Engineering etc.) including leading reconciliation with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

·  Ensure product strategy, contract changes, market dynamics, and product substitutions are accurately reflected in the demand forecast

·  Manage the Supply Chain restrictions and qualifications by customer / region

·  Interface with Global Inventory Leader and site inventory leaders to drive utilization of excess inventory for upcoming forecast
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering from an accredited college or university

·  Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management, shop operations, facilitation and/or production control in a manufacturing environment
Desired Characteristics

·  Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university

·  Experience in Business Management

·  APICS certified

·  Strong Oracle knowledge and experience

·  Able to work within a multi-discipline, cross-functional environment

·  Ability to work in Matrix organization - influencing and gaining commitment at all levels of the organization

·  OMLP grad (for internal candidates only)

·  Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, standard cost systems

·  Strong math and analytical skills including statistical abilities.

·  Strong organizational skills and initiative to manage multiple priorities and drive to achieve results

·  Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and experience with forecasting modelling tool (e.g. Demantra)

·  Collaborative problem solving skills

·  Strong oral and written communication skills

·  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
