Role Summary/Purpose

The Geoscience and Petroleum Engineering Intern provides support and assistance to work with the Geoscientist group in Mexico to meet assigned objectives. Will work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action and short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Provide data input/output support to the Geoscience Center for client digital and hardcopy deliverables
·  Make job backups and weekly/monthly backups
·  Perform quality control of hardcopy and digital deliverables
·  Assist and support Geoscience personnel with Quality Management Process
·  Provide direct support to Geoscientists for data processing
·  Provide ideas to increase efficiency, improve quality, and/or reduce cost
·  Assist in data preparation and editing, collates reports and plots
·  Assist in data processing and editing
·  Contribute to client reports
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Undergraduate (Bachelor's degree) from 5th to 7th Semester of any Engineering (Petroleum, Geophysics, Geology)
·  Proficient in English
·  Knowledge in statistics analysis
·  Initiative/ Proactivity
·  Strong analytical, organization and presentation skills
·  Strategic thinker: Proven problem solving skills
·  Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges
·  Effective communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
