Role Summary/Purpose

Are you graduating from university in 2021 with a passion for Marketing? The GE Healthcare Marketing Leadership Development Program (MLDP) is designed to launch exciting marketing careers within GE Healthcare. Over the course of the 2-year program, participants will experience 3 rotations highlighting a variety of marketing functions and roles.
Essential Responsibilities

MLDP curriculum allows participants to provide substantial impact to the GE Healthcare business while expanding their marketing skills and core competencies in preparation for a successful marketing career in the business. 

Marketing Leadership Development Program is a rotational program that provides participants with the functional and leadership skills and experience necessary to build a solid marketing career foundation at GE Healthcare. Throughout the rotations, participants will be given the opportunity to learn marketing skills from a wide variety of fields, taking responsibility for implementing projects and measuring ROI. 

The learning experience will focus on functional marketing expertise as well as leadership training and is provided through a variety of methods, from self-study and online learning modules, digital tools, webinars, sponsored trainings at GE’s education campus, and extensive on-the-job training. Each participant is assigned a rotation program sponsor as well as a marketing mentor to facilitate their learning. 

Marketing fields of study and core competencies highlighted during the rotations include: 

Pricing, Promotion & Launch – new product introduction (NPI) launch, pricing strategy, price sensitivity analysis, competitive analysis, portfolio planning, demand generation, nurture campaigns, enterprise marketing, market plan creation including market size and share analysis 

Value Proposition – value proposition fundamentals, evidence generation, customer research, competitive intelligence, regionalization, messaging 

Strategic & Competitive Positioning – content marketing, industry and marketing knowledge, competitive analysis and benchmarking, strategy and execution, market disruption techniques, channel marketing 

Customer Segment Marketing - develop & execute go-to-market strategies. Partner with product marketers to develop product positioning messaging for specific customer segments. Identify key customer requirements and work with product teams to ensure they are understood and incorporated into products/solutions. 

Digital Marketing – develop multi-channel marketing strategies that produce measurable results.
Upon completion of the program, graduates of MLDP will work with the program director to take on a challenging marketing position to implement their expertise.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree required, 0-2 years related experience 
·  Minimum GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale 
·  Desire to cultivate a career in the marketing field 
·  Results driven coupled with project management skills 
·  Permanent role off-program will likely be in the Chicago area 
·  Work in a fast paced, dynamic environment 
Quality Specific Goals 

·  Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 
·  Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 
·  Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required 
·  Maintain knowledge of and understand all applicable Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or Local/ Int’l Law is broken. 
·  Maintain knowledge of and understand all applicable Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or local / Int’l Law is broken. 
·  Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

·  Previous internship experience in marketing preferred
