POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for setting up and operating assigned laser machines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The qualified associate who assumes these responsibilities will be expected to:

·  Ability to operate a laser machine (6 Months-1 year preferred)
·  Gages Experience
·  Manufacturing background
·  Knowledge of applied mathematics
·  Read, understand and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculations
·  Ability to perform precise and detailed work
·  Communicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal within the team
·  Follow and promote safe work practices

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Operates machine manually and inputs data (MDI)
·  Sets focal point and takes power reading
·  Sets up tool, jigs, fixtures and laser heads
·  Loads and unloads parts according to work instructions
·  Sets fixture offsets as required
·  Utilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
·  Maintains accurate work records
·  Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required
