Role Summary/Purpose

As a CPQ Apttus Developer, you will join GE Renewables CPQ team who is currently transforming the way commercial team process deals and sends quotes to customers. As a CPQ team we provide solutions for costing and pricing needs using best in class technology.
Essential Responsibilities

•Work with architects to understand the technical design and develop the components on salesforce.com, Apttus CPQ using standard, custom components and OOB Apttus API’s.

•Evaluate & adapt salesforce.com standard development practices to meet requirements using configuration & standard OOB features & objects

•Work with product champions to enhance the existing Apttus CPQ product catalog by transforming the product templates in Apttus product models

•Demonstrate product models/User stories developed and perform required testing, bug fixing to promote to the higher environments.

•Created and maintain master build package for every release

•Migration of code and configured items from the development environments to SIT and UAT followed by migration to the Production environment
Qualifications/Requirements

•Strong hands on technical proficiency on Salesforce.com with 2-4 yrs of experience on Apex programming, Visual Force, Triggers, Apex API, Web Services & SOQL.

•Experience customizing Apttus CPQ application using Apttus config settings, Apttus OOB API’s, PCB with Apttus product modelling skills.

•Technical proficiency in Salesforce.com administration and configuration like Custom Objects, Workflows, Approval Processes, Reports & Dashboards & Process builder.

•Understanding of full SDLC life cycle process & experience in migration of objects/metadata using Change-Sets, Eclipse IDE, ANT migration tools, setting up CI/CD.

•Experience on Data Migration using various tools like Apex data Loader, and other data loading tools.

•Good to have Platform developer 1 or ADM 201 Administration certification

• Excellent communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers or delivering a technical presentation.

• Experience working with distributed external resources and vendor teams (onshore and offshore)

• Experience in product modeling and can construct catalogue that simplifies the sales experience (commercial catalogue)
