Roles and Responsibilities

·  Prepare fiberglass pieces by cutting from a roll to pattern or length, rolling it, and marking it with the appropriate layer code
·  Order all glass as needed on the I-pad
·  Cut glass on cutting machine to required length for glass kits and rework glass
·  Track glass kits traceability on paperwork and in the I-pad
·  Fill empty glass kit carts
·  Slit glass as needed
·  Ensure all materials used is according to the work instructions and approved from the quality department
·  Notify supervisor immediately of any near miss or injury, no matter how slight.
·  Seek guidance from fellow coworkers or supervisor regarding various issues.
·  Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working alone or with a team.
·  Attend crew/department meetings as required.
·  Attend plant meetings as required.
·  Maintain 5’s standards
·  Wear appropriate PPE

Required Qualifications

·  Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
·  Ability to operate heavy machinery.
·  Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
·  Ability to push/pull heavy objects

Desired Characteristics

·  High School Diploma/GED or related job experience.
·  Previous manufacturing experience.
·  Previous composite materials experience.
