Job Description Summary

The Reputation Management Communications Leader will play a critical role in safeguarding the GE Aerospace brand and reputation by strengthening the company’s preparedness for and response to risks and crisis events.

As part of the Enterprise & CEO Communications team, this role partners across the organization—including with the Security, Legal, Human Resources, employee communications, and business communicators—to develop standard work and rapid-response messaging that support effective issues management and crisis communications.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Serve as a core member of GE Aerospace’s crisis communications team, supporting the development and delivery of timely internal and external messaging during emerging issues and crisis events
·  Draft clear, consistent messaging and materials for high-visibility or time-sensitive situations
·  Develop and maintain communications protocols, standard work, and response plans that strengthen the company’s preparedness for potential reputational risks
·  Support enterprise preparedness by helping drive alignment across functions on issues management and crisis communications processes
·  Maintain and continuously improve a searchable archive of crisis messaging, templates, and communications resources to accelerate response and ensure consistency
·  Partner with Security, Legal, HR, employee communications, and business communicators to support coordinated response to operational and reputational risks
·  Support a regular operating rhythm with key internal partners to strengthen collaboration, visibility, and preparedness around emerging issues
·  Prepare executive-level updates and reporting related to reputation risks, issues management, and crisis response activities
·  Evaluate communications effectiveness using data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen response processes
·  Support Enterprise & CEO Communications reporting and other strategic initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
·  3-5 years of experience in strategic communications, issues management, crisis communications, or reputation management

Desired Characteristics

·  Experience supporting crisis communications or high-visibility corporate issues strongly preferred
·  Strong writing and messaging development skills, particularly in fast-moving or sensitive situations
·  Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
·  Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization
·  Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
·  High attention to detail and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced or high-pressure environments

The base pay range for this position is $98,000.00 - 131,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on 4/26/26.
