Job Description Summary

The CES Controllership Operations and Project Management role is responsible for driving and supporting key projects that strengthen CES controllership, compliance, and financial reporting processes. This role combines project management, process improvement, and operational controllership support to help deliver high-quality, timely, and compliant financial outcomes.
You will collaborate with controllership, FP&A, and business operations teams to implement new policies, tools, and processes that improve Safety (in a financial controls context), Quality of financials, Delivery of key milestones, and Cost efficiency.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Project Management
·  Lead and support  controllership-related projects  (policy changes, system implementations, process standardization, remediation plans).
·  Develop  project plans , timelines, and milestones; track progress and proactively manage risks and issues.
·  Coordinate activities across finance, IT, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure  on-time, on-quality delivery .
·  Controllership Support
·  Support  month-end, quarter-end, and year-end  controllership activities, as needed (close readiness, account reconciliations, review support).
·  Help ensure adherence to  accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements .
·  Process & Controls Improvement
·  Analyze existing  finance and controllership processes  to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses.
·  Propose and help implement  simplification, standardization, and automation  opportunities.
·  Support remediation and continuous improvement of  internal controls  in collaboration with controllership and internal audit.
·  Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
·  Serve as a central  coordination point  for assigned projects, ensuring alignment across controllership, operations, and IT.
·  Provide clear, concise  status updates , dashboards, and presentations to leadership.
·  Facilitate  workshops and working sessions  to define requirements, validate solutions, and drive adoption.
·  Data, Systems & Tools
·  Partner with digital/IT teams on  finance systems changes  impacting controllership (e.g., ERP enhancements, reporting tools, workflow).
·  Help define and test  requirements, UAT scripts, and data validations  for new tools and processes.
·  Ensure appropriate  controls and audit trails  are embedded in system and process designs

Required Qualifications

·  BA Degree in finance or accounting or relevant experience.
·    Project or program management  (leading or supporting cross-functional initiatives).
·  Strong knowledge of  Accounting concepts  and controllership practices.

·  Excellent  organization and time management , able to handle multiple priorities.
·  Demonstrated  continuous improvement mindset ; experience with lean or process improvement tools is a plus.
·  Working with  financial processes  (close, reconciliations, reporting, controls).
·  Preparing and interpreting  financial data and reports .
·  Internal controls  and compliance principles

The base pay range for this position is $119,000 - $158,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on 3/26/26.
