Job Description Summary

The Asset Management Field Repair Leader provides operational leadership for the New Engine Reconfiguration and Level 2 Lease Repairs businesses. The selected candidate will be responsible for the end to end process execution of new engine reconfigurations as well as field level repairs on the AAJV Lease Fleet.

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Asset Management Field Repairs Leader, you will:

·  Manage the end to end processes for field service work related to lease engines and new/used engine reconfigurations.
·  Manage quote requests for New Engine Reconfigurations, ensuring a timely and accurate quote back to the requestor within 3 days.
·  Perform analysis of the configuration differences between the as shipped and the requested configuration using GEA digital thread tool.
·  Create the bill of material required to convert the engine.
·  Create a quote with lead time, cost and expected turn around time to complete the conversion.
·  Receive customers PO and coordinate the ordering of materials, scheduling with Field Service etc.
·  Track progress and report to customer on a weekly basis.
·  Interface with Field Core to provide forecast, daily management of work and quality inspections.
·  Coordinate with the lease Product manager and maintenance manager to schedule and plan repairs that align with dispatch dates.
·  Partner with Lease Maintenance Manager to troubleshoot and repair field issues associated with Asset Management lease engines.
·  Plan and manage all global Level 2 Lease repairs.
·  Implement and maintain strategy for Level 2 service provider controls including vendor metrics and scorecard.
·  Order and Track material to support the repair works.
·  Work with supply chain to expedite material shipment and solution challenged material as necessary.
·  Lead the engine preservation strategy with Field Core.
·  Support the Quality issue resolution process and own cases for L2 maintenance and reconfigurations.
·  Perform cost reviews and own the billing process.
·  Be accountable for the operating plan for the value stream.
·  Own continuous improvement efforts for the value stream and support other areas of Asset Management as needed.

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering with at least 3-5 years of experience in aeroderivative services or related field or Associates Degree with at least 5-7 years of experience in aeroderivative services or related field or HS/GED with 8-10 years of experience in aeroderivative field services or equivalent.
·  Demonstrated business acumen and communication skills

·  Customer focused with strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
·  Familiar with General Electric LM series aeroderivative gas turbines.
·  Ability to travel as needed to support level 2 activities
·  High energy level with proven ability to lead change
·  Experience with engine overhaul and repair processes
·  Working knowledge of the engineering BOM structure for gas turbine engines
·  Contract management experience
·  Knowledge of logistics processes and documents required to move cargo and clear customs
·  Working knowledge of forecasting, scheduling, cost management, and configuration management
