Role Summary/Purpose

GE Energy Financial Services (EFS) is recruiting highly motivated individuals interested in the energy sector for its Analyst Program. Opportunities available in portfolio management and investment underwriting roles across the energy spectrum in the Renewables, Power, Oil & Gas, and Midstream sectors. Analysts will be exposed to financial modeling, transaction documentation, asset acquisitions/sales, portfolio analytics and regulatory compliance.
Essential Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models and projections.
• Conduct industry/company research, including risk analysis.
• Perform valuation analysis for projects and companies.
• Assist in creating credit requests and other supporting deal documentation for internal approvals and reports.
• Maintain deal management information systems.
• Independently develop and execute process improvement projects.
• Oversee all ongoing servicing activities and serve as primary point of contact for commercial financing transactions according to documented requirements and operational procedures.
• Secondary account management of debt and equity transactions.
• Manage projects to ensure administrative compliance with deal terms and monitor reporting metrics for operations.
• Review operating and financial results of project companies.
• Assist in the underwriting of new transactions.
• Communicate with and participate in projects across many business functions, including Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Technical.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Economics in progress with anticipated graduation in Spring 2018.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience working with, proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Fluency in English (written and oral).
• MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
