Essential Responsibilities

· 
Complete required training curriculum for weld processes 

· 
Ability to obtain required weld certifications for GE

· 
Complete all required compliance training 

· 
Complete all EHS training and participate in safety and or quality audit 

· 
Be an active contributing member of a high-performance self-directed work team 

· 
Ability to use / apply TIG welding and assembly techniques and inspections 

· 
Ability to read & understand process instructions & weld schedules 

· 
Communicate effectively with Production Control and Process Engineer(s) on needed supplies and consumable materials 

· 
Drive Safety, Quality, and Production metrics within the team business needs.

Qualifications/Requirements

· 
High School Diploma / GED

· 
Ability to pass eyesight acuity requirements and color vision perception test. 

· 
Welding certification from an accredited trade school or equivalent, and/or a minimum of one year of welding experience

Eligibility Requirements

· 
Flexibility to work off shifts and travel for training as needed.

· 
Able to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment.

· 
Ability to read, interpret, and follow process planning, part routers, and other quality documents.

· 
Ability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity, as required 

· 
Complete required training curriculum for weld processes 

· 
Complete all required compliance training 

· 
Complete all EHS training and participate in safety and/or quality audit

· 
Cross train on other direct labor operations, as required per business need

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
