Responsible for technical support of business planning and production. Provides key link between plant and GE Vernova Gas Power engineering organizations.

Job Description

What you’ll do

·  Drive CoE quotation workflow process, provide key inputs and assistance,
·  Coordinate internal activities related to NPI programs / communicate with customer representatives,
·  Communicate with customer and design engineering representatives regarding NPI programs as needed,
·  Track and facilitate drawing/specifications changes initiated for error corrections or cost reductions,
·  Manage distribution of production support documentations (drawings, engineering BoMs, 3D models),
·  Provide assistance to cell Manufacturing Engineers regarding technical questions,
·  Identify additional machine requirements due to capability shortfalls,
·  Lead internal and if needed external qualifications with both local engineering, QPEs/SQEs and DE/MPE team.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

·  BSc or MSc degree in Engineering (pref. mechanical engineering degree)
·  Strong experience in heavy/medium manufacturing
·  Practical knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques
·  Some experience in NPI projects
·  Fluent in Hungarian and English
·  Functional ability using personal computing applications
(word processors, spreadsheets, graphics, email, etc.)
·  Drawing/BOM understanding and correlation
