Role Summary/Purpose
The Accumulation Technician - Jport will manage, problem-solve, and work cross-functionally in support of part movement, accumulation, and tooling, including but not limited to: receiving, delivery, stocking and shipment.
Essential Responsibilities
As the Accumulation Technician - Jport, you will:
· Perform roles and responsibilities of the Material Handler classification
· Troubleshoot material related issues, to include interaction with the Sourcing team
· Support material activities / problem solving through advanced usage of Oracle and Shop Floor Management
· Accumulate and process parts to ensure configuration accuracy
· Interpret Illustrated Parts Books, Service Bulletins, Oracle and SFM systems
· Identify and resolve configuration issues and systems issues
· Coordinate parts credit returns and reallocations
· Provide solutions to expected parts shortages to meet production needs
· Collect data, run reports, track, communicate status, and update performance metrics
· Track, order, inventory, organize, and maintain all types of tools, calibrated equipment, and shop supplies
· Be responsible for ordering, shipping, receipt, and coordination with Sourcing and may be required to interact with outside vendors
· Assist in the development of annual tool and shop supply plan
· Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
· Work with calibration lob and calibration supervisor to ensure calibrated tooling is compliant
Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma / GED
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or storage yard ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability and willingness to lift, push, and pull at least 40 pounds
· Ability and willingness to operate a forklift over 15,000 pounds
Desired Characteristics
· Minimum of 1 year of experience with barcode scanners
· Experience with lean action work-outs
· Previous Material Handling experience
· Certified in crane and rigging operations
· Certified to operate a forklift or ability to be certified
· Ability to read engineering drawings, Illustrated Parts Books, and Service / Product Bulletins
· Ability to read, write, and communicate in English language
· Advanced computer skills (Oracle, SFM or another warehouse management system, MS Excel)
· Ability to actively work on multiple tasks at the some time
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
