Overview

This hybrid position will be located at our WSS Corporate Office in Gardena, CA. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

 

The Sr. Manager, Brand & Marketing Partnerships serves as the main point of contact between WSS retail marketing and key vendor brand partners. This leader ensures brand partner alignment with retail marketing goals and marketing department execution. The role coordinates cross-functional communication and execution, ensuring partner programs are integrated into retail and digital marketing initiatives, while maintaining balance between relationship management and strategic alignment with WSS business priorities. This role has two coordinator level director reports.

Responsibilities

Brand Partnership Strategy & Management

·  Oversee brand partnership strategy, including campaign calendars, production timelines, budgets, and ROI measurement.
·  Serve as the primary point of contact for brand partners, ensuring campaigns align with both brand and retailer objectives.
·  Optimize co-op and marketing development fund usage across campaigns to maximize results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·  Facilitate communication between Creative, Media, CRM, Store Ops, Merchandising, and E-Commerce to ensure timely and consistent execution of partner programs.
·  Coordinate internal efforts to achieve regional, hyper-local, and national marketing goals.
·  Oversee the execution of all promotional materials (TV, content, print, POP, digital, social) with the co-op team and partners.

Performance Measurement & Reporting

·  Measure and report campaign performance through post-campaign recaps, quarterly reviews, and activation metrics.
·  Provide insights on traffic lift, ROI, and overall effectiveness of brand partnerships.
·  Champion brand consistency by ensuring all partner-driven assets uphold WSS and vendor brand standards, tone, and visual identity.

Further External Partnership Collaboration

·  Build and manage a network of 3 rd party partnerships and relationships across art, music, sports and entertainment as well as neighborhood and community
·  Develop alignment initiatives alongside partners to authenticate the WSS brand for customer acquisition and engagement

Vendor Budget Management

·  Oversee the vendor rebate process and overall annual budget by department (digital, events, visual merchandising, etc.)
·  Achieve yearly budget forecasts and annual rebate goals by vendor
Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
·  Experience: 5+ years of brand partnership or retail marketing experience with national or consumer brands.
·  Experience with marketing analytics, budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and test-and-learn methodologies.
·  Proven ability to lead strategic negotiations and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
·  Minimum of 1 year experience as a people manager

·  Analytical and data-driven, with proficiency in retail math and marketing metrics.

·  Passionate about sneakers, sneaker culture and/or the retail industry.
·  Appreciation for culture and diversity.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

·  Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day).
·  Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and maneuver merchandise or marketing materials.
·  Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, climb, balance, kneel, or reach as needed.
·  Effective communication in person and on the phone.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $120000 -130000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
