The Social content creator role is part of Marketing’s in-house Creative Team responsible for creating content for our social channels for Foot Locker EMEA. All daily tasks will be as directed by the Associate Design Manager, Creative and Content.  

 

In close relationship with the Brand Marketing, GTM, Influencer, and Social Teams, this role will create original and engaging content for our social media accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and turning content ideas into videos, images, memes, and text captions.  

 

You will ensure that all content is developed in alignment with Foot Locker EMEA overall marketing strategy and brand positioning. You will provide internal Departments with content support whenever needed, ensuring creative team alignment and respect of the brand guidelines.  

Responsibilities

Day to day  

·  Create various forms of social media focused content—text captions, videos, and images— suitable for the various social media platforms, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube. Experience with content creation for the main SoMe platforms is essential. 
·  Monitor SoMe trends and contribute ideas with the team to create engaging content to increase reach and relevancy.
·  Collaborate with designers on larger campaigns to create ideas and content aligned to the larger concept but with social mindset and channel relevancy. 
·  Collaborate with the marketing and social team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the company maximize engagement, reach, and sales.
·  Ensure every piece of content you create aligns with our brand voice. Having a conceptual creative mindset, aesthetic eye, and attention to detail is essential.
·  Support with creative excellence and partnership with the geo markets for regionalized content.

  Creative   

The Social Media content creator role includes development and execution of social ideas and content. This is being done while working closely with Marketing, Product and Operations departments.  

 

Social Trends   

The Social Media content creator, along with the rest of the team, will need to keep track of and identify current/new social trends. This is done by creating a library of examples, explorations and suggestions. This library will help the overall team to stay on top of trends.  

 

Other Responsibilities 

Work as an extension of the Brand team. Continually grow, learn, and experiment with new and innovative ways in which to solve problems and how to turn those solutions into innovative, dynamic, creative executions. 

Qualifications

Competency Profile  

·  HBO or equivalent degree in Creative field 
·  2 to 3 years experience working in social content creation
·  Deep knowledge of social media trends, platform functionalities, hashtags, and engagement strategy 
·  Ability to work with creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, AI
