Senior Designer, Omnichannel

Overview

The Senior Omnichannel Designer role is part of EMEA brand’s in-house creative and content team. The individual will manage the development and execution of FLE’s creative concepts, including product and brand campaigns, retail concepts, POS materials, promotional activations, event support materials, digital content including web pages, emails etc.

 

They will ensure that all creative work is developed in alignment with Foot Locker EMEA overall marketing strategy and brand positioning and provide clear directions to the other members of the team to ensure consistency across the channels. They will provide internal Departments with creative support, ensuring creative team alignment and respect of the brand guidelines. 

 

Responsibilities

·  Develop creative concepts and graphic designs for various all online and offline marketing channels
·  Translate brand guidelines and marketing objectives into visually compelling designs that resonate with the target audience across different channels.
·  Create mockups and prototypes to visualize design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
·  Ensure consistency in visual identity, typography, color schemes, and imagery across all channels and touchpoints to maintain brand integrity.
·  Adapt designs to fit the requirements and specifications of different platforms and mediums while preserving brand coherence.
·  Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine assets and style guides.
·  Work closely with marketing teams, copywriters, web developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
·  Communicate effectively with team members to brainstorm ideas, provide design recommendations, and incorporate feedback into the creative process.
·  Collaborate with external agencies or freelancers when necessary to deliver specialized design projects.
·  Keep track of and identify current design trends.
·  Support creation and maintenance of an archive of all materials developed by the in-house creative team and to ensure all team members follow the approved structure. 
Qualifications

·  HBO or equivalent degree in Graphic Design 
·  Minimum of 8 years work experience in design, either gained in a similar work environment or with an advertising agency 
·  2-4 years’ experience with overseeing large campaigns 
·  1-2 years’ experience attending and supporting shoots (preferably in an art-direction role)
·  Full understanding of creative and production processes, good comprehension of digital/screen/offset printing methods and creation of assets for online 
·  Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud package (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Bridge, etc) 
·  Fluent in English, knowledge of other European languages is a strong plus
·  Good communication skills with ability to develop relationships with internal and external clients 
·  Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes, excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines 
·  Ability to accept constructive feedback as part of the creative process 
·  Ability to think and design commercially
·  An understanding of Dreamweaver, html and web design is a plus 
·  Experience in JIRA and or other project management platforms is a plus
