Overview

This position contributes to Foot Locker’s success by supporting the clerical and data entry needs of the business as it relates to our product dataset. The Purchase Support Specialist main responsibility is to provide clerical back up and administrative support to the Merchant team in the buying process. This role is key in ensuring accurate SKU creation and maintenance as well as Purchase order writing for Foot Locker Europe.

The ideal Purchase Support Specialist is detail oriented, curious yet results oriented, and someone who is actively able to identify process improvements. Responsibilities

·  Responsible for accurate entry of SKU attributes, cost prices, style codes, UPC/EAN, vendor numbers, PO attributes on the back of the instructions of Buying and Merchandising teams
·  Ensuring accurate Purchase Order creation and maintenance while managing the deadlines of our various vendor partners
·  Building solid working relationships with other departments to efficiently complete tasks requiring cross-functional involvement (Buying, Merchandising, Logistics, Franchise and Ecommerce)
·  Supporting and assisting your peers on cross-functional tasks, ie assist in IPP processes, SKU & PO maintenance or troubleshooting, order samples in timely matter.
Qualifications

·  MBO or Bachelor's level required
·  Consistent, hands-on, relevant administrative or secretarial working experience required
·  Fluency in English, other European languages are strong assets
·  Good command of Microsoft Office including Excel
·  Ability to work under pressure and with own initiative
·  Enthusiastic, positive, and goal-oriented team player
·  Accurate (also with numbers), well organized and service minded
