Overview

The Operations Trainer is primarily responsible for training and cross training of new hires and full-time associates in all functions within the facility. The operations trainer must demonstrate leadership behaviors through positive representation of the Company Core Values. Professional communication and problem-solving skills are an essential part of training team members to become competent, courteous and efficient.

Shift Availability:
· Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:30AM until 7:00PM
Shift Differential:
· Weekend Shift: Should you meet your full 36.00 scheduled hours, a payout of 40.00 will be honored.
Base rate paid bi-weekly: $17.51 per hour.
· Earn $0.26 wage increase following the completion of 90 days, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months of service, totaling up to $1.04/hr. on top of the base rate.
Attendance Bonus: Earn a $40 Attendance Bonus per week. That equates to an additional $1.00 per hour. (Eligibility and policy rules will apply)
Referral Bonus: Refer a friend and you both obtain $900.00 (Paid out in four increments - Eligibility and policy rules apply)
Responsibilities

· Facilitate classroom, small group and on-the-job training for new hires and existing associates.
· Provides performance feedback and conduct training follow-ups with new and existing team members.
· Complete Training Checklist and additional documentation to align with procedures and track training completions and attendance records
· Communicate with training department and department supervisors regarding any issues related to trainees under their instruction. Partner with supervisor and manger to deliver disciplinary action as needed.
· Create, review and update training materials and practices that align with company core values.
· Work within the assigned department as needed to assist with productivity and to continue to develop and maintain skills needed to train.
· Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to read, write, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
· Brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.
· Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
· Maintain confidentiality at all times
· All other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
· Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations.
· Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
· Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed.
· Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed.
· Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
Qualifications
· Qualified candidates will be able to stand, walk, and lift weighted boxes. More details will be provided but will need the ability to meet vision requirements and meet other physical demands within labor regulations.
· Applicants must be 18 or older , have a positive attitude, be open to learning, work well with others and have the willingness to prioritize customer needs.
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Related experience in presenting, learning facilitation or leadership, preferred.
· Minimum of 6 months experience within the distribution center.
· Bilingual - Spanish Speaking PREFERRED.
Benefits
