Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Configuration Engineer for Oracle Retail who will play a key role in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex business problems by delivering simple, robust and maintainable solutions using continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
The role entails contributing to SaaS platform configuration, integration, and extension strategies along with optimizing and enhancing capabilities across legacy and emerging Line of Business (LOB) applications in the procurement, inventory, invoicing, pricing, and promotions spaces.

Responsibilities
· Leveraging domain knowledge in retail merchandising, ensure Foot Locker is maximizing its investment in the Oracle Retail Merchandising solutions. Proactively look for opportunities to create additional value through streamlining existing processes or enabling new capabilities.
· Act as Subject Matter Expert for out-of-the-box capabilities in Merchandising Foundation Cloud Services (MFCS), Pricing Cloud Services (PCS), Invoice Match Cloud Servies (IMCS), and Sales Audit Cloud Services (SACS).
· Have a keen understanding of system configuration options and their implications.
· Stay abreast of patches and enhancements to the solution, including evaluation and testing in lower environments.
· Develop tailored content, such as FAQs and KB articles, to enable self-service and minimize tickets, incidents, and disruptions.
· Assist in troubleshooting activities, leveraging a working understanding of Oracle SQL, the Oracle Retail data model, and data extract techniques
· Liaise with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations, explaining the capabilities of the platform and helping to develop solutions for emerging business cases.
· Partner with end users to ensure they are benefiting from an optimized user experience, including tailored dashboarding and intelligent alerting.
· Develop and execute functional unit and end-to-end test cases, for regression testing and feature enablement.
· Support traditional Business Analyst tasks, such as requirements gathering for small to medium initiatives, report development, testing, documenting, evaluating new platform capabilities, and researching the Merchandising solutions marketplace.
· Support engineers as they learn key Oracle Retail process areas, such as Master Data Management (Hierarchies, Items, Locations), Purchasing, Inventory, Replenishment, Price/Promotion, Invoice Match, Inventory Movement, and Sales.
· Support other assignments within the ERP implementation program as needed, including task management, data conversion, User Acceptance Testing, and system configuration verification.
Qualifications
· Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field, or three years of related work experience.
· Minimum three years of experience in implementing, customizing, or supporting a Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) Merchandising ERP solution, preferably Oracle Retail on-prem or cloud. This could be as a System Integrator, Integration Developer, ERP Developer, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst
· Solid Oracle SQL skills
· Working knowledge of incident management systems such as ServiceNow, and work item management systems such as Jira
· Domain knowledge with many Merchandising concepts, such as Product Master Data, Stock Ledger, Cycle Counts, Supply Chain transaction processing, and price/promotion management.
· Documenting all work in a clear and concise manner, including detailed technical specifications and user manuals.
· Experience with requirements gathering.
· Experience with designing and implementing functional test cases.
Nice-to-have:
· Experience in footwear and fashion retail.
· Working knowledge of Oracle Retail integration technologies and concepts, such as DAS, POM, and ReST APIs.
· Prior work experience in a publicly-traded firm with SOX regulatory constraints.
· Experience with edge Merchandising modules, such as Inventory Optimization, Markdown Optimization, Space/Assortment Planning, and Demand Management

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $80,000-$105,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
