Overview

Foot Locker is seeking a Distribution Center Loss Prevention Lead to join the distribution center team working across the NA distribution center network with a focus on shrink reduction. In this role the Distribution Center Loss Prevention Lead will be responsible for safeguarding all company assets, such as personnel, property, and information, as well as identifying and documenting incidents including but not limited safety, inventory discrepancies, and theft.

 

This position will work closely with a matrix of stakeholders in the distribution centers as well as Loss Prevention, Corporate Security, Transportation, and Inventory Accounting.

Responsibilities

·  Develop and support a Loss Prevention awareness culture throughout the Distribution Center. 
·  Train DC personnel on proper Loss Prevention and physical security procedures and identification of common shrink indicators.
·  Ensure Loss Prevention policies and procedures are implemented and monitored. Report violations to management.
·  Monitor, enforce and audit operational procedures and controls intended to eliminate shrink possibilities. Develop and implement control exception remediation actions with DC Management
·  Audit/Monitor Shipping and Receiving procedures to ensure the security and integrity of store deliveries.
·  Partner with Inventory Control to review weekly cycle count reporting and research trends and identify potential theft issues.
·  Identify, employee, vendor, driver and other theft incidents within the Distribution Centers as well as through the supply chain.
·  Partner with Corporate Loss Prevention/investigation team to investigate and resolve thefts incidents.
·  Participate in regular management meetings to stay informed and update on shrink initiatives.
·  Conduct physical security checks to minimize asset loss, maintain CCTV, and alarm systems.
·  Respond to fire and burglar alarms, exit compromises, and take appropriate action.
·  Monitor and review CCTV.
·  All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

·  High School Diploma or GED
·  2-3 years of experience in distribution centers, inventory control, shipping and receiving, loss prevention, and safety.
·  Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
·  Ability to learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all operating systems and processes
·  Ability to read, write, operate computer, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required
·  Understand how to de-escalate situations with conflict management techniques

Base rate paid bi-weekly:  $23.00 - $27.00 / hr based on skills and experience.
