Overview

We are holding open interviews on Wednes day, February 25th  from 12:00pm-5:00pm ! Come check out the distribution center and interview for open seasonal & permanent positions. We are located at 10 Isidor Ct., Sparks, NV 89441.  Your application is your RSVP and will get you through the process more quickly on-site! 

 

Seasonal positions will last for 90 days with the option to convert or extend based on business needs.

 

Available full-time positions & shifts:

·  3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:30am

·  Equipment Operator 
·  3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7:30am
·  Material Handler (seasonal)
·  Operations Trainer
·  1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
·  Material Handler  (seasonal) -  Inbound
·  1st Shift:  Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm

·  Material Handler  (seasonal) -  Outbound & Returns
·  1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

·  Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday 5am-5:30pm

Responsibilities

Material Handler:

·  Accurately use and operate an RF scanning device
·  Efficiently and accurately process orders by packing merchandise for shipment to stores and customers
·  Unload merchandise for processing and load merchandise for shipment
·  Process Return To Vendor, returned and liquidation items in accordance with procedures

Equipment Operator:

·  This position requires being taken up to 30 feet in the air on equipment
·  Safely operate all equipment within the distribution center. Equipment Operator equipment includes: order picker, swing reach truck, reach truck, and any other machines as needed; Automation Operator equipment includes inbound receiving line, outbound single box line, and autobagger
·  Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift and at full capacity, including checking for damage and reporting all damages or malfunctions to supervisor immediately
·  Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights and maneuver equipment in and around tight corners, through staging areas, and around pedestrian traffic in a safe manner
·  Perform routine inspections on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to the supervisor or maintenance team; clean equipment

Operations Trainer:

·  Facilitate classroom, small group, and on-the-job training for new hires and existing associates
·  Provide performance feedback and conduct training follow-ups with new and existing team members
·  Complete Training Checklist and additional documentation to align with procedures and track training completions and attendance records
·  Communicate with training department and department supervisors regarding any issues related to trainees and partner to deliver disciplinary action as needed
·  Create, review, and update training materials and practices that align with company core values
·  Work within the assigned department as needed to assist with productivity and to continue to develop and maintain skills needed to train

·  Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations.
·  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
·  While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
·  Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed.
·  Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed.
·  Based on business necessity, associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.

Education & Experience:

·  High School Diploma or GED preferred
·  6+ months of previous experience in a warehouse facility preferred
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
·  Ability to read, write, conduct business-related mathematics, and analyze data as required
·  Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English* to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills and effectively communicate in case of emergencies
*This requirement is critical to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. It is not a requirement of Foot Locker that employees speak English only while at work. 

Equipment Operator: 

·  High School Diploma/GED required
·  Must be able to certify on any machine within the warehouse as business needs dictate.

Operations Trainer:

·  High School Diploma/GED required
·  Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office

·  Presentation, learning facilitation, or leadership experience preferred
Benefits

Base pay rates:

·  Equipment Operator:  $23.00 / hr
·  Material Handler: $19.00 / hr
·  Operations Trainer:  $21.00 / hr

Shift differentials :

·  3rd Shift:  $1.25 per hours worked
·  Weekend Shift: Should you work your full scheduled 36.00 hours, 40.00 will be paid out.
