Job description
Sales Engineer (LifeTech) Festo France Île-de-France, France Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer develops and strengthens accounts in the designated area and identifying new opportunities for growth. Responsibilities: Develop yearly strategic plans for new business / focus area, including market segmentation, mapping, value proposition; Gather market potential and identify addressable market for Festo’s offering in the Medical and Laboratory industries; Identify strategic customers and build individual account plans for acquisition; Develop responsible for relationship with highest value customers; Participate in business development activities and campaigns for lead generation; Demonstrate effectiveness in selling solution-based concepts and develop efficiently large strategic accounts; Organize regular automation meetings for customers to position Festo as preferred partner in Automation; Report on a regular basis to management on visits, sales pipelines, monthly forecast, etc.; Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management and other business units to assure coordinated and successful initiatives. Requirements: Minimum Degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Life Science, Mechatronics or related discipline) and minimum 2 years’ experience in sale and specifically experiences of technical sales in Life Science Industry. Self-driven, organized, proactive and a good team player with ability to work independently. Acceptance of working in a multi-cultural environment, integrating and understanding other cultures. You have an excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and presentation skills. You can deal with all levels of customer contact including decision makers. You are a passionate sales hunter. You should possess good understanding of sales process and market knowledge on focus areas You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of IT tools (CRM tools, MS office). A knowledge of Festo’s product is a plus Location of the candidate: Ile-de-France (HQ Bry-sur-Marne) Mobility: Half of France, from Rennes to Lyon (plan 2-3 nights of sleepovers per week).
