JUNIOR CONTROLLER OPERATIONS

Ferrero Ardennes is currently looking for a Junior Controller Operations (VIE position)
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Budgeting and Forecasting
For the Operational unit collaborate with the Operations controller in the preparation of Budgets, Forecasts and ad Hoc short term analysis for all financial;
- Budgeting and Forecasting activity for the Operations Unit;
- Brand/Intercompany/Month/Account details;
- Definition of needs, waste, outsourcing, models for the Operations unit;
- Preparation and communication of the direct costs and TP;
Preparation of Operations Profit & Loss
Perform routine analysis on financial statements or financial information for all financial statements e.g.:
- Sensitivity analysis
- Performance analysis
- Variance analysis Cost-benefit analysis
- Benchmarking against competitors or intercompany
Actual and Month end closing
Under the supervision of the OPS controller and in line with the Group and Local deadline:
- Preparation of Month end Closing activity;
- DIRA, Mirroring, tolling Fee,
- “Conguaglio” documentation preparation;
- Preparation and presentation of Month end analysis;
- Variance Analysis and improvement proposal;
- Profitability analysis and overview presentation to SLT;
- S OPS calculation, review and improvement proposal;
- Management of the Outsourcing contracts and monthly PO;
- Financial year changeover optimization; Stock evaluation on standard costs;
- Preparation of Standard Costs, Scraps, OBSO and Waste in collaboration with the Central team for missing information; (including sub-contracting costs)
- Preparation of Weekly and Monthly reports and dashboards;
Database Management
Full ownership shared with the OPS controller to provide database management and ensure integrity of data within systems used in reporting function for:
- Essbase; Hyperion;
- ERP System; Everest;
OVH planning and actualizing
Collaborate with the local AFC team and the SLT in the activity of:
- OVH OPS Budget & Forecasting;
- OVH OPS Actual and delta analysis;
- SCI costs reporting, check and monthly delta explanation;
- Support broader team
Business Decision and Compliance Support:
- Support the local AFC team in providing advice and consultancy to line Managers in the decision making process for key financial issues;
- Provide support to internal and external auditors as required;
- Assist with ad-hoc financial requests as and when required
Investment management and reporting all Benelux
- Support the local Investment controller in the preparation and reporting:
- BDG/SAF/monthly closing;
- Opening and follow Up of Internal Order
- Asset register actualizations;
PROFILE
- Master in Finance
- Understanding of Financial Statements and Operations processes
- Budget and Forecast knowledge
- Database Management
- Basic knowledge of Belgian Taxes
- Ability to plan ahead, to set and achieve goals
- Ability to communicate and influence others
- Ability to solve problems and set priorities
- Analytical skills
- General awareness of FMCG industry
- Productions process Acumen
