Visual Basic Developer

 

Required Skill Set (Experienced)

Advanced VBA, MS Access Programmer (2-5 years of experience)

Application Design and Implementation skills:
- Must have strong exposure to VBA (Advanced VBA, Advanced Macros), User Interface development on both MS Access forms and on Excel
- Must have experience in developing user heavy screens with complex reporting requirements such as drill down graphs, dashboards etc.
- Must have working knowledge on relational databases, ability to write complex SQL queries. Must have experience on creating databases in MS Access and working through it
- Prefer to have application development experience in any one framework ( .NET or Java/J2EE )
- Must have understanding on Software development lifecyle and development methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile etc.) - SDLC
- Product development experience will be a plus

 

Documentation Skills:
- Must have experience in documenting System Design Documents or Functional Requirements
- Must be proficient in developing Data Flow Diagrams, Flowcharts, Sequence Diagrams
- Experience in documenting Unit Test Cases or System Integration Test cases (SIT) will be a plus
- Experience in Architecture diagrams will be a plus

Domain Skills:
- Must have Basic understanding of financial products
- Preferred having working experience in any one financial area

Education Background:
- B.Tech/BE with consistent performer throughout.
- Preferred resources with technical certifications
