Role: Technical Writer

Grade: Senior Associate

General Requirement:

·  Candidate should be able to work in collaboration with technology teams in a fast-paced environment and can produce multiple deliverables with frequent deadlines. Candidates should have the flexibility to learn new products and technologies quickly and have the versatility to move from technology to technology as needed.

Responsibilities

·  Create and review online/offline user help, user guides, installation guides, Product Guides, Toolkit/Troubleshooting guides, administrator guides, tutorials, and developer documentation for products/services, technical reports etc.
·  Liaise with Technical teams to develop the work products
·  Understand client documentation expectations and align all documentation within the Minimum Acceptable Criteria set by client.
·  Strong Technical writing skills and knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices.
·  Capability to provide recommendations on best practices in technical documentation to customers
·  Schedule the writing deliverables, review the content deliverable quality, serve as the liaison between the Technology team and the writing team
·  Develop and document new policies/procedures/standard operating procedures
·  Proven understanding of Technical Publications process and styles, and Documentation Tools
·  Work in Middle East timings and extended timings as per project needs

Skills

·  Technical Skills: Online and Offline User Documentations development, Analytical Skill, Communication skills (both verbal and written), Domain Knowledge as applicable, Estimation skills, Stakeholder Management, Team Management when necessary.
·  Familiarity in preparing Technical documentation for one or more technologies such as Sharepoint, CAMUNDA, BRE, CRM, Biztalk etc.
·  Behavioural Skills: Customer management, Organizational skills, Interpersonal skills, Mentoring skills, Consultative mindset

Experience

4+ to 6 years of experience in the Software industry with at least 3 years of experience in Technical Writing.
