QA Manual/Automation - EY Global Delivery Services

Job description

Responsibilities : 

     

·  Define the scope of testing for Manual and Automation within the context of each sprint/release and delivery.
·  Ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through test strategy/planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
·  Work with stake holders to ensure that the quality metrics is reviewed, closed and agreed upon
·  Keep raising the bar and standards of all the quality processes with every project.
·  Set processes for test plan/test cases reviews and ensure that that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.
·  Create a list of milestones and checkpoints and set measurable criteria’s to check the quality on timely basis
·  Challenge the team continuously to move towards automation for all daily works
·  Control and manage difficulties that arise in different projects during manual testing, automated testing and related activities
·  Own QA deliverables and activates and ensure visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software.
·  Analyse and mitigate complex problems/issues arising as a result of test failures, identify bottlenecks, work with development to resolve issues.

Qualifications:

·  Should have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach of the product in Agile/SAFe methodologies.
·  Experience in Agile tools such as JIRA, VSTS/Azure Devops, Rally etc.
·  Should have strong analytical skills, attention to details and able to make decisions and drive QA work independently or in a team.
·  Proficient in Selenium Tool.
·  Strong Experience in C# or Java Programming with Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, JUnit and TestNG
·  Experience in Framework development/enhancement for Data driven Testing, Cross browser testing and Parallel Test execution
·  Experience with defect tracking tools and trending
·  Proven success working collaboratively within cross-functional and intercultural teams based on strong team spirit, solid work ethic and good communication

Nice-to-have:

·  Experience in Devops with CI-CD model
·  Experience with Azure Devops
