The team

This open role is for the Data and Analytics team which supports and co-ordinates the different data management activities including data research and analysis, data process optimisation, data onboarding, data processing according to guidelines, data modelling and consumption to meet the flexible business demands of the clients. There is also potential to collaborate on additional platforms and offerings within the Client Technology group.

The selected candidate

·  Need to have 4-6 years of relevant techno functional exposure to the various aspects of data analytics
·  Builds networks with other departments across the business to help define and deliver business value as required to deliver small to medium-sized projects
·  Applies advanced process optimization concepts to be a trusted member for rejuvenating the as-is applications
·  Actively contribute towards the data research on the legacy applications on need basis and provide additional support for delivering the extract, transform and load of data from disparate sources into a form that is consumable by analytics processes, for projects with moderate complexity, using strong technical capabilities
·  Part of data modeling team of relatively high complexity, leveraging a sound understanding of data modelling standards to ensure high quality
·  Is flexible and willing to scale up the skills based on the changing demands

Your key responsibilities include

·  Designs and/or applies a comprehensive collection of methods, practices, policies, tools and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of all the data assets of a company, ensuring their protection, governance, trusted consumption and monetization.
·  Performs maturity assessments on data management capabilities, designs related organization and operating models and advises on tools and roadmaps to implement them.
·  Understands and assesses business strategy in connection with the value of data at scale.
·  Articulates information strategies that meet business objectives by establishing a vision and a target state for organization, people, data and technology.
·  Works with other Information Management & Analysis professionals, the program team, management and stakeholders to design and build analytics solutions in a way that will deliver business value.
·  Supports the production of high-quality data analysis deliverables, helping to ensure project timelines are met, and providing informal mentoring / training to junior members of the team
·  Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
·  Developing working relationships with peers across other teams and beginning to collaborate to develop leading data solutions

Skills and attributes for success

·  Data Analytics solutioning- Hands-on experience in understanding, designing and developing analytics solution based on business requirements
·  Database Architecture and Design – Exposure or knowledge in database design concepts and functional architecture
·  Data Integration - Capability to design and implement models, capabilities and solutions to manage data within the enterprise (structured and unstructured, data archiving principles, data warehousing, data sourcing, etc.).  This includes the data models, storage requirements and migration of data from one system to another​
·  Data Quality, Profiling and Cleansing - Capability to review (profile) a data set to establish its quality against a defined set of parameters and to highlight data where corrective action (cleansing) is required to remediate the data ​
·  Data Visualisation, Data modelling - Experience in delivering the analytical solution to the business stakeholders in the form of visualisation/BI Reports or data models and providing recommendations based on the analysis
·  Intermediate understanding of the following tools and technologies, and how to apply them to solve business problems

Essential:

·  Experience with any of the Databases – SQL /Teradata/ Oracle/NoSQL etc
·  Experience with Data Visualisation tools – Tableau/PowerBI/MicroStrategy etc
·  Hands-on experience with atleast a couple of Conventional or Cloud based Extract, Transform, Load Tools- Alteryx/Informatica/Datastage/Talend/SSIS/Azure etc.
·  Good knowledge of the data transformation and or data manipulation functions
·  Knowledge of Programming Languages – Java, Node.js, Python, R, SQL,SAS etc.
·  Proficient in MS Office suite- Word,Excel,Powerpoint

Nice to have:

·  Certification in Data and Analytics related domain

Education

·  B.E/B.Tech/MCA or higher educational degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Communication, Engineering, IT, Cyber Security, or related field preferred
