Position Summary

·  Web Designers create the look, layout, feel, functionality and features of EY websites using text, data, graphics, sound, animation and other digital and visual effects. They produce new websites that are visually appealing, clear and consistent and work on enhancing existing web properties. They conceptualize and implement creative ideas and visual elements for websites that are in brand. They may consult with internal clients and collaborate with creative team members to develop specifications and make adjustments regarding the use of new and emerging web technologies. Create user interfaces for web navigation using wireframing tools and functional user-interface techniques in the web design workflow.

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Conceptualize and execute web design solutions that align with business objectives while offering elevated client and team experiences
·  Utilizes UX/UI experience to create well designed user interfaces and technically constructed sites and pages for the optimal user experience
·  Design engaging and responsive landing pages, visual imagery and full websites on various platforms
·  optimizing sites for maximum speed and scalability
·  Communicate site requirements using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes, performs workflows accurately to ensure proper site maintenance and compliance
·  Create high-fidelity mock-ups for vetting, user testing and create finished .psd files for development
·  Applies design principles to choose effective imagery and create visually impactful sites and pages
·  Alter, add and manipulate content and structure within a proprietary digital environment, such as Modern SharePoint or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
·  Manages and supports AEM and various other Content Management Systems (CMS) in managing, creating, and publishing sites and pages
·  Collaborates with stakeholders, designers and approvers and cross-functional teams to plan, deliver and execute successfully and ensure content is published on time
·  Creates complex animated graphics and infographics, kinetic typography
·  Excels at project management including managing multiple projects, communicating and negotiating project deadlines, project scope, and schedule changes as necessary
·  Performs work with the utmost attention to detail resulting in a superior accuracy
·  Advanced experience creating responsive web design and frameworks, such as Bootstrap, that incorporate strong grid principles optimized for various devices and browsers
·  Experience in user experience and user interface (UX/UI) design and prototyping
·  Proficient in HTML5, CSS3
·  Proficient in coding language such as JavaScript, jQuery
·  Advanced troubleshooting, debugging and testing skills for quality and reliability of deliverables
·  Demonstrates a proven ability in graphic design inclusive of drawing and sketching, colour theory, use of texture, typography, as well as visual presentation development and layout
·  Knowledge of design principles, effective use of imagery and typography, and an eye for design
·  Highly advanced technical experience and mindset is essential
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and use of the English language for direct interaction with stakeholders across geographies (US designers, project managers and art directors)
·  Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment, work across organizational departments, and instill confidence with others through work quality, time management, organizational skills, good communications and responsiveness
·  Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) - managing, creating, and publishing the pages
·  Quick thinker and fast learner with the ability to adapt to changing technologies
·  High level of accuracy with great attention to detail
·  Possesses a mindset to learn things and undertakes add-on responsibilities
·  Experience or knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager a plus, with ability to quickly learn the platform
