The role of Forensic Data Analytics, will be responsible for providing leading technology and expertise in data driven support of complex litigation cases and business issues, allowing our clients and their counsel to make informed, strategic decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities

·  Work with multiple client engagement teams and focus on data analytics cases, involving in data transformation and/or analysis
·  Perform forensic analysis to determine flows of data/ files and to extract and analyze logs or audit trails
·  Conduct data analysis including working with relational databases, analytical and statistical packages / tools - such as SQL Server, SAS, SPSS, and R, analyze data in support of investigations, litigations, audit and other engagements
·  Perform IT system general control review and IT application control review
·  Assist in preparing working papers, schedules and reports which will be delivered to our clients and other parties
·  Collaborate with team members in executing the engagement and keeping managers updated on the engagement status
·  Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
·  Build strong internal relationships with other service lines
·  Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills

 

Requirements :

To qualify for the role you must have

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science
·  1-6 years of experience in an information technology environment, preferably including programming and relational database / statistical engine design and management
·  Knowledge of database such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
·  Knowledge of operation system such as Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows, etc.
·  Knowledge of data visualization Tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, etc.
·  Knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, C++, Perl, SAS, etc. is a plus
·  Knowledge of data warehouse including ETL, data model design, etc. is a plus
·  Knowledge of ERP systems like Kingdee, Ufida, SAP, Oracle Financials, or PeopleSoft is a plus
·  Knowledge business cycles such as order to cash, procurement to pay in certain sectors (e.g. TMT/Consumer Products) is a plus
·  Audit experience is a plus
·  IT security project experience is a plus
·  Excellent communication and prioritization skills
·  Strong teamwork and leadership skill
·  Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
·  Travelling is required
