Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Static Site Engineer - Electrical Bias, to be based at Procter & Gamble, Skelmersdale, WN8 9PE. This is a permanent full time  role working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm. This role includes a bespoke call out rota, approximately 1 week in 3. On offer is a competitive salary, Call Out allowance, and benefits package.

General Overview:   

The role of the Static Site Engineer will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, small electrical installation works and general maintenance tasks including minor fabric repairs etc at a Warehouse Facility. Due to the nature of the job, the successful candidate would also be required to carry out other tasks as per customer demands such as handyman tasks etc, so a flexible approach is required. The role also requires the successful candidate to be on an emergency call out rota (approximately 1 week in 3). Reporting to the Service Manager.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) includes statutory compliance such as emergency lighting; fire alarm etc so must be able to maintain site documentation to the required standards including ability to complete minor works certificates etc. 
·  H&V maintenance and repairs, electrical fault finding and repairs to lighting, small power, motors, control panels, general building services etc. 
·  Must be able to carry out works to the highest standards and also be able to assist in providing quotations for repairs/small installation works. 
·  Candidates must also have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety and be able to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Qualifications or Required Experience:   
Essential

·  Recognised electrical apprenticeship and have relevant industry experience. 
·  Knowledge of Health and Safety. 
Desired

·  IPAF, PASMA, L8 awareness, 
·  Electrical Test and Inspection. For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package with this job role.
