Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile AC Engineer to be based in Solihull, B37 7YE. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. On offer is a salary of £30,000.00 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience.

General Overview:  

·  Fulfilling the Site Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) responsibilities and customer targets
·  Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment 
·  Safely and efficiently maintain and repair plant and equipment 
Duties include:  

·  To conform to ENGIE standards, rules and procedures.
·  To carry out scheduled maintenance tasks, repairs and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice.
·  To carry out reactive works associated with  HVAC and  other plant where appropriate to site
·  To be familiar with and understand their own role in the site contingency plans for dealing with emergency situations.
·  To ensure that the Contract Manager is kept informed of all aspects of safety performance, plant performance and customers circumstances that may impact upon the safe, efficient, reliable and cost effective operation of the plant and smooth operation of the plant.
·  To become familiar with all Company and site procedures
·  Assist the Contract Manager in the completion of all relevant documentation associated to the works undertaken; including those identified by the engie ICMS quality system or required by the Customer.

Qualifications or Required Experience: 

·  Fully qualified (to current minimum legislative standards) HVAC engineer with appropriate background 
·  Multi skilled and ability to undertake some electrical works (advantageous)
·  Basic level IT skills
·  Knowledge of HVAC maintenance techniques
·  Knowledge of  HVAC systems and associated equipment where appropriate to site
·  Understanding of all relevant legislative and statutory requirements relating to the site
·  Control and implementation of Safe Systems of Work
·  Full clean UK Driving licence
