About the Role

The role will manage the research and insight for Energy Supply UK by leading and developing key insight to drive business growth through increased customer, and competitor understanding.

 

This is a Hybrid role assigned to our Leeds office where the successful candidate would be based two days a week.  On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package and the chance to make a difference in the energy transition.

 

Summary of key responsibilities

·  Leading and managing customer and competitor insight projects and providing key recommendations to stakeholders to support proposition development and positioning.
·  Manage the creation of new insight programmes to increase understanding of customers and competitors and communicate key findings to the business.
·  Engage with relevant stakeholders to understand their key challenges through scoping sessions and establish insight-led approach to support decision making process and strategic planning..
·  Deliver annual customer focused research programmes. Working with agencies and developing questionnaires and discussion guides that meet the research objectives, programme questionnaires into survey platforms and carry out testing to ensure successful research fieldwork.
·  Manage and report on key customer service research programmes (NPS, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Experience) Drive engagement at Executive level, along with the wider business.
·  Develop and manage a Brand Tracker programme to measure market and customer awareness of ENGIE along with perceptions of the brand. Use findings to engage at Executive level to support brand positioning.
·  Liasing with Legal, Compliance and Data Protection teams to ensure customer research programmes meet internal policies.

 

Knowledge and skills:

·  Extensive experience of setting up and managing research projects from start to finish
·  Experience of communicating and engaging insights business wide and at Executive level.
·  Excellent knowledge of the Energy Industry with experience of developing models and tools to monitor market and competitor movements.
·  Ability to make insight-led recommendations to the business.
·  Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Excel and PowerPoint in particular
·  Analytical with ability to deal with and interpret complex data from a number of different sources.
·  Self-starter

 

Experience/Qualifications

·  Demonstrable experience of working in a research and insight function.
·  Experience of successfully launching new insight programmes to support business decision making. B2B markets preferred.
·  Experience of managing a wide range of stakeholders.
·  Educated to a degree level (or equivalent)
