Grounds Maintenance Assistant

ENGIE are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Assistant to be based at the NHS Tameside Hospital in Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 9RW.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £17,469 per annum. Working pattern is Monday to Friday however there is a need to work weekends on a 1 in 3 rota basis

As a Grounds Maintenance Assistant you will work in a team to provide essential grounds and gardens maintenance service to the site ensuring the grounds remain clean and clear at all times.

Role Overview

· 
Ensure the Site remains neat and tidy and clear of litter and debris

· 
Remove graffiti and keep clean walls, equipment and grounds areas

· 
Maintenance of bedding areas and undertake lawn care tasks including mowing, strimming and lawn care treatments

· 
Carry out and assist in planned/reactive maintenance on site systems and hard landscaped areas

· 
Clear frost and snow from car parks, ramps and stairways

· 
Undertake road maintenance tasks including patch repairs

Role Requirements

·  Experience of grounds maintenance
·  Experience of working with members of the public
·  Experience in a healthcare environment is desirable (not essential)
