Global Fleet Supervisor
Location: Paris, France

What You Can Expect
As the Global Fleet Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in real-time monitoring the performance of our global renewable fleet of utility-scale wind, solar, hydro, and battery storage assets from the Global Hypervision Center. This role offers the opportunity to ensure early detection and follow-up of critical and high-risk assets in our portfolio based on internal (e.g., technical) parameters and external (e.g., weather or market price) factors.
Key Responsibilities:
· Real-time monitoring of the global renewable fleet from the Global Hypervision Center.
· Ensure early detection and follow-up of critical and high-risk assets.
· Complete daily monitoring duties, consult operations logs, reports, and dedicated analytical platforms.
· Prepare business warnings and alerts for regional, local, and central teams.
· Create and manage operational performance reporting, ranging from daily to monthly, for various audiences.
· Perform trending analysis and assist in global benchmarking of technologies or performance/failure trends.
· Maintain continual communication with Operational Area’s performance monitoring centers/teams and transversal support teams across different countries, cultures, and languages.
· Facilitate data deep dives with multi-disciplinary teams for detailed troubleshooting, problem identification, solving, and validation.
· Test and validate AI and machine learning methodologies for advanced analytics on global datasets.
Education, Experience & Skills
· Educational Background: University degree; Master's desirable.
· Professional Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a real-time operations or data analysis environment, preferably in the electricity sector (generation, transmission, or distribution). Knowledge of hydro, wind, solar generation, and battery storage systems is a plus.
· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese is highly desirable.
· Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and understand critical events in complex and dense multivariable environments, and resolve complex issues effectively.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Strong capabilities in problem-solving and decision-making.
· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software programs necessary for day-to-day operations, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and data analytics environments.
· Interpersonal Skills: Diplomatic, team player, sociable, and independent with a strong passion for renewable energies and energy efficiency.
· Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and results-oriented with good reporting skills.
Additional Details
· Must comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.
· Ability to use company computer systems with Microsoft Suite and SCADA systems.
· Ability to act as relief during planned or unexpected absences of colleague supervisors.
