We are currently looking for a Generator Expert (F/M/X) within the European Maintenance Services (EMS) organization . EMS in Engie is responsible for executing specialized maintenance activities in different powerplants in Belgium and Europe (mostly Netherlands and France);
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Generator Expert (M/F/X)
· You play a key role in the preparation, execution and consolidation of generators maintenance. In case you observe incidents or non-conformities during outages, you conduct root-cause analyses and define corrective and preventive actions by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders . You carry out in-the-field machine conditions assessments and mechanical and electrical measurements
· You develop and consolidate all generator technical information and know-how within EMS by participating to internal and external networks and by ensuring processes are adapted adequately.
· You share your knowledge , coach others and determine adequate training modules in order to maintain EMS’s competencies on generators.
· You develop a long term strategy on the maintenance of generators and its parts per entity. Whenever you initiate and realize improvements you do so based on technical-financial analyses (business case). You also assist to the negotiation of maintenance contracts
YOUR PROFILE as Generator Expert (M/F/X)
· You hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent by experience
· You have relevant experience in generator design/manufacturing/ maintenance/ commissioning
· You have good analytical skills and you know how to log your knowledge, plans and works in solid reports
· You like to work in a team and take into account the opinions of your stakeholders (EMS colleagues powerplant staff, service provider personnel, insurers…)
· You have a good working knowledge of English and speak either Dutch or French
· You are OK to move to different sites and prepared to spend 35% of your working time abroad
· You work and live in Belgium
· You always take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues!

YOUR WORK LOCATION
Variable: at home, at our offices in Linkebeek or at ENGIE’s various (thermal & hydro) powerplants in Belgium, The Netherlands (Eemshaven & Lelystad) & France (Montoir, Fos-sur-Mer, DK6) Depending on the maintenance projects, you move to these various locations.
