Job description

Position Summary:

The role requires a detailed understanding and practical experience of Electrical maintenance activities related to modern combined cycle gas turbine plant, desalination plant and a wide range of auxiliary plant equipment.                

The Job Holder will work closely with other Electrical Technicians to ensure Plant Routines are carried out efficiently and to high quality standards;

Technical            

·  Responsible to ensure compliance of IMS.
·  Practical experience of maintaining instrumentation and control equipment gained through hands on experience and formal training.
·  Organizing spares, tools and equipment to carry out maintenance activities
·  Carry out maintenance activities on a range of major Electrical systems in accordance with OEM Manuals for the equipment.
·  Performs troubleshooting activities as necessary to determine failure conditions and rectifies the defects found.
·  Works with Plant Operations Personnel for resolving problems encountered with control equipment under the guidance of the ELECTRICAL Foreman/Engineer.
·  Ability to carry out duties with minimum supervision
·  Practical knowledge of plant isolations from system
·  Knowledge of health & safety and safe working practices
·  Ensures a safe working environment for himself and his colleagues while working on any equipment
·  Computer literacy
·  Good command of English Language
