What You Can Expect
As a Collections Analyst, you will mitigate credit risk and minimize credit losses by following established collections procedures. In this role, you will use effective communication and business judgment to enforce compliance with contractual payment terms through direct customer contact. You will manage internal and external customer inquiries to ensure timely resolution and oversee the accurate and efficient handling of disconnect and reconnect processes.
· Specialize in debt collection, focusing on reducing DSO and increasing cash flow through outbound calls and follow-ups on past-due bills
· Handle collections of term fees, returned checks, and ensure accurate recording of collection activities.
· Resolve escalated customer issues, advise on remittance, and coordinate with analysts to manage delinquent accounts
· Recommend process improvements, ensure compliance with market collection rules, and support documentation for customer disputes or drop decisions
· Collaborate with sales, legal, and accounting teams, and meet/exceed collection metrics to ensure timely payments and professional customer interactions
· Assist with monthly reporting and accounting requirements
What You’ll Bring
· You hold a Bachelor’s Degree Accounting or Business or 3 years of energy industry experience in lieu of degree
· You have a minimum of 5 years of business experience, with at least 3 years of high-volume corporate collections experience
· You hold a strong background in commercial collections, demonstrating expertise in managing delinquent accounts and improving cash flow
· You are proficient in handling complex collections tasks, with a focus on customer service and resolution
· You have experience using Salesforce
Additional Details
· This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy will consist of three (3) days in office and two (2) days working remotely
· Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $30.00 – $36.00 USD annually
